Back At It Again

It has been 5 months since I've last blogged on this channel and now we're less than 35 days away to enter 2017. Who knew time would slip away that fast, huh?

Classroom Biz

Clearly a lot has happened the past 11 months of 2016 and I'm still wondering how I got through all the obstacles of being a Form 4 student with doubts on carrying heavy-loaded subjects (to me personally) that I'm having trouble keeping up with the pace. Being a girl with a limited sight ability truly made it harder for me to focus on little details such as problems that required long calculation in finding the answer or even doing some scientific experiments in the lab for all that matter. Basically Science stream was out of the picture. Still I faced other bumps along the way. The important thing now is that I am feeling comfortable with the final decision I've made with the help of my mom for next year's learning session. It was really crucial as 2017 will be the year I will sit for SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) as the last big test that sums up the unforgettable 11 years of schooling. Make it 12 years including preschool days.

What will happen afterwards?
Better keep my mind on what's surely planned ahead for me and that is SPM for now.

Daily Mates

At the same time I made good new friends in class and had the feeling of forming my own dream squad even though you will most likely spot me eating at the canteen or sitting at my table alone.

On the bright side almost everybody in school recognizes me, so I didn't felt lost from time to time.

Dynamic Duo

I even had the chance to reunite with my old close friend, Chrysa who I've shared the sweetest school memories with when we were 12. I don't know if it was fate but the day my heart was moved to ask my parents if I could meet up with Chrysa was the day she contacted me on the phone out of the blue and the rest was history. How does 4 hours of chatting at a restaurant sounds?

You couldn't shut us down even if you tried.

Skipping School

Yes, I have to admit that this year I've missed several school days than usual. It's not because of sudden haze situation like last year. Days after the final exams where teachers are busy filling up their time on marking students' papers are surely on the 'ditch-school-list'. If I had a friend who I can talk to from morning till school ends, then I'll consider coming to school. But that's not an option right now.

Surprise, Surprise!

I finally got the once-in-a-lifetime iconic CHICKEN POX!
2 weeks of crazy icthiness, plentiful coconut drinks and no school. Sounds like a vacation to me, minus the icthy part. Sad part was that I was quarantined which meant I was trapped in my own home for good. My family cancelled an outing to a public park (if I'm not mistaken) because of this unexpected event. The only time I went out during those periods was visits to the clinic.Best part was I had the excuse to rest the whole day everyday as part of the healing process.Me and my bed became best friends ever since.

Last Day For 2016 (25/11/16)

That day was a hectic one for me. I chased after teachers settling some school stuff like:
  • getting test papers
  • getting Form 5 textbooks
  • seeing the vice principal
  • retrieving my karaoke contest prize (yes, I sang in front of the school again)
  • and etc
But it kept me away from being bored to death loitering around in the school hall ALONE1
Plus the teachers never mind the fact I was walking around school by myself. It didn't felt suspicious to them, I guess.

As the cherry on top of the sundae, since it was a pleasant day in my perspective, I joined the Instagram-famous MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE for the very first time. I can proudly say I've done one in my life.

GOALS ACHIEVED!

And it got more than 1000 views on my friends IG account. Did I mention he walk right pass by me like so close, you'll have no problem searching for me in the video clip.

I'm really glad I stayed in the school hall for the last 30 minutes before holiday session commenced.
They even played the song 'See You Again' from the Fast & Furious 7 movie as we all exited the hall for the last time this year. Sadly I had no idea where the rest of my classmates were that moment, so I soaked in all the feels by myself and walked out for my dad's car.

Now it's time to party.
WOOHOO!
